The Founders

Chris and Jerry have been neighbors in upstate N.Y. for fifteen years. An artist who funneled his creativity and passion into growing exquisite hand-crafted salad greens, Chris began farming the land that is now Alchemy Pure with organic practices in 1998, starting Sky Farm. In 2003, Jerry purchased a run-down dairy farm across the valley, and transitioned it into Herondale Farm - a mixed livestock farm with grass-fed beef and lamb, and pasture-raised pork and chicken.

Two entrepreneurs – one growing produce and one raising livestock – both built respected brands committed to producing the highest quality food in a socially and environmentally responsible way.  In anticipation of N.Y.'s legalization, both have been licensed hemp growers since 2018.  As they honed their growing skills, they found that they shared a passion for natural growing practices, and a vision for a new cannabis farm. Together, Chris and Jerry have spent the last few years creating Alchemy Pure.
